GREAT SHAKA WINS AND MAKES IT TWO 10/1 VALUE BETS IN JUST TWO DAYS!
10 Jun 2020: Scottsville 10 June: The Whisperer's Value Bet, GREAT SHAKA, won well with 10/1 on offer! Yesterday at Kenilworth our Value Bet, ANECDOTE won as well at 10/1! This is what I had to say about GREAT SHAKA today: "We had another nice 10/1 value bet winner yesterday at Kenilworth, and today I have chosen to go with GREAT SHAKA in the 8th race, at the same price of 10/1. He has had the benefit of having a run last week, and he showed great pace under the same apprentice and was only outrun late. He will enjoy the fast track, and some weight off his back again, and he is a full 11 pounds lighter today than his best career mark of 98."
单职业传奇sf BACK TO BACK VALUE BETS WIN AT KENILWORTH!
09 Jun 2020:
单职业传奇sfKenilworth 9 March: The Whisperer's Value Bet, ANECDOTE, won with 10/1 on offer! PLUS at the last meeting at Kenilworth, our Value Bet, OUTOFTHEORDINARY, won with 14/1 on offer! This is what I had to say about our Value Bet today: "ANECDOTE is my chosen Value Bet on the card today, and that is mainly because they have slipped a pair of blinkers on this chap. MJ Byleveld has stuck with this chap, he has a good draw, and some of his best form puts him right in the mix today. He does always seem to run on too late, and hence why I think the blinkers could be of good assistance to him today by helping him get into the race earlier, have an each-way bet at around 10/1."
单职业传奇sf SUMMER PUDDING WINS THE SA TRIPLE TIARA
07 Jun 2020:
Summer Pudding claimed the SA Triple Tiara by winning The Grade 2 Wilgerbosdrift SA Oaks over 2450m on Saturday. At one stage she almost trebled in price from her opening call of 9/20, but she proved once again that she is the real deal, cementing her place in South African racing history. The race worked out well early for Gavin Lerena, but she did hit a bit of a flat spot about 500m out when they quickened, but she unwound beautifully to hit the front with a furlong to go and stayed on strongly to win comfortably.
单职业传奇sfSummer Pudding is trained by Paul Peter and owned by Mauritzfontein, and bred by Wilgerbosdrift and Mauritzfontein. It was a very fitting win for the family who have helped South Africa and South African racing during these very hard times. Victoria Paige is a horse to follow from the race back over a bit shorter, she was very unlucky not to beat Summer Pudding in the Guineas, and she just didn't quite get the trip on Saturday.
BETTING COUP LANDED AS VALUE BET WINS WITH 14/1 ON OFFER!
03 Jun 2020:
Kenilworth 3 June: The Whisperer's Value Bet, OUTOFTHEORDINARY, won with 14/1 on offer when selections were posted this morning! "OUTOFTHEORDINARY is my value bet on the card today at 14/1, and he has been on my radar dropping down the ratings nicely, 10 pounds in his last 4 starts. I also remember this chap winning his maiden by a distance in the soft going, so he won't mind the sting out of the ground. I thought the 14/1 was good value for an each-way bet."
